Spring Week of Prayer 2010

Following on the success of Fall Week of Prayer 2009, Maranatha held its first annual Spring Week of Prayer from February 22-26, 2010. The guest speaker was Dr. Burnett Robinson from Florida. He challenged the students to make right choices and commit their lives to God. Week of Prayer came to a close with four students getting baptized and many more making making a commitment to pray, study their Bibles and live for the Lord.

Pearson House Defeats Kerr House
Pearson House defeated Kerr House in this year's sports competition, to take the trophy for only the second time in the history of the school. Pearson House won the Bible Quiz competition and Kerr House won the cross country run and the cheerleading, but Pearson also won the field events and completed their quest by taking most of the track events.

National Youth Week 2009

National Youth Week in the Turks and Caicos Islands was celebrated from September 20 - 26 under the theme "Discover You : Step up and Step Out. The week's activities climaxed on National Youth Day (Friday, September 25) with youth in Providenciales participating in a road march from the First Caribbean Bank to the Gus Lightbourne Sports Complex.

Youth throughout Providenciales represented their respective schools in the talent and banner competitions that saw Maranatha High School claiming the second place behind Clement Howell High School in the banner competition.
